Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
If a marriage license is a contract that turns the couple and their offspring into property of the state without full disclosure, is it not then invalid. Thus removing one from family court jurisdiction? Also if one is not a fictitious entity but a spirit natural born, what jurisdiction and claim can any corporation/ government/ court have over oneself. I have paid child support for 16 and a half years and now am out of work due to economy. I now have to deal with the courts. I have sent money to mother and she has verified this in writing, But I refuse to be contracted to any state agency against my will. I plan to plea for them to prove their jurisdiction over me before I go forward. I have an arraigment very soon. What are your thoughts.

I could answer your question with a long and (to me, at least) interesting treatise on jurisprudence. But let's make this simpler: the state has a powerful police force and you don't. If you don't pay your child support (or at least prove that you've already paid it), that police force will put you in jail. You may find that unjust. Many would agree with you, and they've made the arguments you offer and they've lost. I wish I could explain more of this to you, like why your arguments are wrong and why you should go to jail if you willingly don't pay child support, but I only have limited space and, after all, I don't get paid to answer your question on this site. Those are my thoughts.
