Marriage of a teen

I hace a 17 year old boy who is wanting to marry his 16 year old girl friend she will be 17 in a few months the problem is her parents are separated and the MOM lets her see my son she lives 6 hrs. away and the Dad lives 2 hrs.away my son went to pick her up the Dad now has changed his mind about them dating he has threating my son he HAS a temper. The MOM told her daughter if she goes out of state to get married she will have it annuled the question I have is can she have it annuled in FL. if they marry out of State? Can she get my son for kidnap if he meets her in another state? I feel she's just talking but I don't want to tell him wrong. They were fine when they were together but now that there divorceing they both are using her as a pawn to go against each others wishes AND the girl is getting HELL from both parents she calls me & my son crying I really need advice PLEASE thank you

Florida requires the consent of the parents for the marriage of anyone less than 18. If they marry in a state that permits 17 year olds to marry I doubt a Florida judge would set that aside as against public policy should they return to Florida.
