Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

If I got married in California in Sept.2012, only lived with my spouse for 30 days in Lebanon, can I file for a divorce in FL, the state in which I live? Even though SHE has NEVER LIVED in FL during our marriage?

You can file in FL however she may raise the issue of long arm jurisdiction. If she does not then the case will go through. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659.

Yes, as long one of the parties has established Florida residency (6 months), you can file in Florida. If you are a member of the military, it may be more difficult for you to establish Florida residency.
