married and had a child with boyfriend. the child was born in Alabama, we now reside in Florida. he wants his name on birth certificate, and child's name changed to his. what can he do? I put "refused" for father's name on birth certificate. I am now divorced.

According to law, if you were married at the time of birth, the spouse is the responsible parent for this child and must file a petition to disestablish his paternity. Once that is done, it will be up to you if you wish to add the boyfriend as the father of this child. You do not have to as long as you are not receiving funds from the state for the support of this child.
