I am married but had a child before my husband, he wants to adopt the child how would I go about this? Does the father who did not sign the birth certificate have any rights?

This is not something that you should try to do on your own. Adoption law can be tricky and if not done correctly can have unintended, negative consequences down the road. Find a lawyer in your city who practices adoption law, not merely family law.
