i am married with two children however have been sperated,not legally for 6months. my children now reside with the father and his girlfriend. he is denying my visitation for no reason is this legal. can my husband deny me rights to my kids without any legal involvement?

You answered your own question. He can deny your visitation because there is no legal involvement. Absent a court order, your husband does not have to grant you visitation of your children.
You need to retain a family law attorney to enforce your rights as mother of the children.
