Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
If a married couple is being sued and in the middle of the lawsuit. Do they have to stay married in order to protect the marital assets from the lawsuit? Or can they get a divorce without anything changing where the lawsuit is concerned? The lawsuit is New Jersey Laws and the married couple reside in Florida and divorce would take place in Florida. Florida laws.
