Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am married to an illegal alien who was deported in 2008 or 2009. We have a child together; he has been absent from our lives for about 2 years prior to being deported and there is currently no communication between us. How do I file for a divorce from a person who was deported?

Either you or your attorney will file a petition for dissolution of marriage in Circuit Court. Your husband must be served with process so an effort must be made to locate him.
