Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I am a married man that has been separated from my wife since November 15th 2009. I/we have not filed for divorce. I now live with my girlfriend and her two children ages 5 female and 14 male. My girlfriend is legally divorced from her husband in the State of Florida. My question is "can her exhusband do anything legally to me or am I in any legal jepordy from the exhusband by living with my girlfriend and her two children? Can her exhusband force me from living there if he wants? What law/laws must I be familiar with to protect myself?

I assume that you don't have any children, so living with another woman won't affect your case. As far as she is concerned, as long as there is nothing in your background that outs her children at risk, you are welcome to live together. Once you are divorced, you can live your life as you choose. Custody can be changed, but there has to be a substantial change in circumstances for that to occur. Just living with someone who is no threat to the kids is not a substantial change in circumstances.
