Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

HI, I was married 6 months ago. As it turns out my husband wasnt divorced yet. HIs divorce papers came in almost a month after. I want to know if my marriage is invalid (since he was still married) and I want to get rid of it, what do I need to do. Ive already left him.

Your marriage never happened. You aren't married, and you can safely walk away. However, it may be worthwhile to obtain an official annulment of your marriage, and you may want to speak to a lawyer about that.
