Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Hi there. I am a married mother of 2. I had stopped child support on my ex husband 3 months ago when I moved out of state. Now my ex husband's current girlfriend is going after him for child support and same as the state I am in Florida. Will our cases get combined or are these two different cases? We are in 2 different states. I am in Florida and they are in Ohio. Please let me know

When more than one mother is involved, the Court will take both child support obligations into consideration, or rather the Father should argue to consider both child support obligations so that he doesn't pay over his statutory obligations. Your cases will be assigned different case numbers.
