Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I was married in the Philippines and when we went back to the Philippines my wife decided to leave me. What I need to know because we were married the the Philippines do I have to get a divorce in the USA or what is the best action to do. We have no children and am I obligated to her in any way. I am not a Filipino am an American.

It would be best if you filed in your state of residence. You probably won't want to file in a country that you are unfamiliar with.
