Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have never been married, my son is 7 and has always resided with me. His father is ordered to pay support but doesn't and there is no custody or visitation set by the courts. I want to move from Florida to Indiana but my sons father refuses to allow me to take my son out of state, even on vacation. Can I legally move out of state with my son? The move is temporary...two years at most.

Why not. You have no papers giving him any rights. If you have chld support it was probably ordered by the Dept of Revenue. If he wants visitation then he will need to file a Petition for it. Also once you move to Indiana, Florida has no jurisdiction over you if your intention is to remain there at the time you move. He would have to file in the State of Indiana.
