Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I was married to a woman for 4 years and in 2007 she asked me to adopt her child from a previous marriage. 15 months after the adoption she walked out with no explanation. After the divorce was final, I was ordered to pay child support. The child is 12 and I now have to pay child support for 2 years longer than the marriage lasted. I attempted to file a motion with the court to have the final judgment but the judge told me there are no "do-over's' in life. Where is the justice?
What recourse do I have? I believe she committed fraud in the adoption as she obviously had no intention of staying in the marriage.
Can I file a civil lawsuit against her for dishonesty, fraud and deception?

There's no fraud, dishonesty, or deception. You adopted the child, and when he did so you knew very well that you could be responsible for child support. Now you have a daughter and you should be proud of that fact. There's the justice.
