Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I have been married for two years, and in that time my wife's ex has not made one child support payment (court ordered.) Consequently, I have footed over half the bill for raising his & her kids. She refused to do anything to force him to make payments ("I don't want my kids to have to visit their dad in jail.") The tension caused by this has ruined my marriage, and I am filing for divorce. Is their any way I can recoup any of the money I've paid for two years to raise another man's children?

No, you cannot recoup any of those moneys. You were under no legal obligation to pay them. There is no legal action available for you to sue her ex husband or her for the money you spent on her children. And, by the way, really? Though I agree with you that she should have gone after her ex for child support, you're divorcing her because she wouldn't put her children's father in jail?
