You haven't given enough information for me to advise you as to what your case will cost and how support will come out. You'll have to speak to a family law attorney and describe your entire situation.

Hello:

I'll add some additional comments...You have several issues that need to be addressed. It normally takes about one hour for consultations on these issues. Briefly, you will get child support and it may need to be increased over the statutory guideline amount due to the special needs of the minor child.

You may be entitled to alimony. More info. is needed to give you an estimate as to that.

As to your claim for your husb. to contribute to your atty. fees, he would need to be making a lot more income than you for that to be ordered.

If I were to estimate the fees, I can only estimate how much time we would incur in your representation. This may include attending mediation in an attempt to settle the case. It may include the time to take your husband's deposition. If the case did not settle at mediation, a trial would be needed. As such, a guess would be approximately $1,500.00 if the case were to settle at mediation. Approximately $2,500.00 if the case went to trial. As you can see, the fees are determined by how much litigation is needed. If the parties were to agree on the issues and sign an agreement, the fees would be the minimum.

If my office can be of any assistance in No. Florida, please give us a call. Tom Rosenblum
