Never married/establish custody

We were never married but we have a 9 yoa. We have always had a verbal agreement on visitation but now he want s her to move with him down to S. FL for a year. How do I go about filing for custody?

If you two are unable to come to an agreement, you would have to file a petition for determination of paternity. This will establish the rights and responsibilities of both parents.
