Marrying someone who is being sued

I married a man who is being sued because of a car accident (prior to the marriage). Are my assets protected? Everything is in my name only.

If they were your assets BEFORE you got married and his name is not on them now, you should be fine. If he transferred assets to you, it may be a "fraudulent transfer".
