Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

i am the maternal grandmother and the state family and children attorney put me off as a non party for custody of my grand daughter because i am in another state.they awarded my ex husband and his wife custody because they are a florida residence.i found out he is very sick and if he pass away his wife will continue have custody of my grand daughter.please help me..what can i do?

You have presented this question before. File an action here in Florida to contest the hearing prevously held. Call the DCF and tell them of his illness and her drug addiction.
