Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

meeting non-custodial parent

I have custody of my 6 year old daughter and her mother has visitation. Her mother lives 45 miles from my house and she says since she has a long drive I have to meet her halfway. When she had custody she made me drive to her house to pick up my daughter. Is there a law in Florida governing whether I have to meet her or does she have to come to me?

Re: meeting non-custodial parent

I assume there was court action to get to where you are re custody/visitation. It would seem that turn-about is fair play. How can she impose that when you did not? Looks like to will go back to court if she doesn't see the equity in meeting half-way.

This is why courts are over-burdened.
