Mexican Divorce

How does a Mexican Citizen who has been living in the U.S obtain a divorce after livng here and being seperated 2 years? The other party lives in Veracruz , Mexico. Is it automatically annulled after so long?

As a practical matter, you have to have a Florida driver's license or voter id to get a divorce here. If you don't have one, you have to have someone swear you've lived in Florida for six months, and you have to have a green card or be a citizen.

You'll have to serve (or attempt to serve) the other party in Mexico.

There is no such thing as an automatic annulment.
