Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I am a former military spouse, my spouse was discharged from the military as of December 2009. While he was in the service I still was considered a FL resident. Since December Ive lived in Iowa and Pennsylvania, am I still considered a FL resident? Can I file for divorce in FL or at least a separation?

You are no longer a Florida resident, and you cannot file for divorce here. You'll have to check the laws of the state in which you are now a resident to see if you qualify to file for divorce there. There may be a waiting period before you can file for divorce in your new state.
