How do I modify custody and child support that I owe?

File a Modification of Custody and Child Support.
Hello: Yes, you will need to file a Petition. In the Petition, you have to state there has been a substantial change in the circumstances. Because of that change (e.g., lost job, less earnings, other side's income went up, one child turned 18 and finished school). The Court will send the parties to mediation to try to come to an agreement. If that doesn't work, a hearing will be held in front of a judge.
