Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
If monthly child support is intended to cover bills associated with my child for that particular month (i.e., March child support covers all bills received for the month of March), does it matter when services are rendered for said bill? That is, an insurance bill that is payable in March (for April insurance coverage) would be considered a March child expense and not an April child expense. Correct? Because in April we will be billed again for coverage in May. Thanks for your help.

This is confusing as to whether this is child support or whether you were also in addition to child support ordered to maintain insurance coverage or share in non covered expenses of the child. If you were specifically ordered to pay insurance or cover non covered medical expenses then payment must be made in the time and manner directed by the Final Judgment/Final Order.
Thoroughly review the final judgment or have an attorney review it to clarify any confusion.

Irregardless, support comes out of your pay by way of wage garnishment every 2 weeks, typically. Contact my office for free consultation 727-446-7659.
Child support is for the living and expenses of every day life - it is not tied to one payment for this and one payment for that.
