Im divorced 8-29-07, I have to pay the morgae in his name, is there a paper he could sign releasing hhis name off, so when I pay the house off I can get a title in my name?

Generally, the mortgage papers control, not the dissolution. You would have to speak with the lender to see if you can refinance the property to put it in your name.
