Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Mother has had 4 contempt of court with not showing to let daddy see his daughter. He notices the child has the same clothes on the child except the shirt Since monday (its sat). She smelt like urine(6yrs old), Mother plays dcf and GAL, changes and dresses kids nice when they are around and is dirty or wearing the same clothes for 2 weeks in a role. Mom always making accueses not to get a job, father paying for child, new clothes every week, gas if he wants to see his little angel. I assume dcf would keep take a child from a matter like this since moms moved 10 times in 6 mths and jailed 3 times. So why havent they or are they blind?

Let's face it, as far as D.C.F. is concerned, your daughter is simply case file 43248128. While many case workers are diligent and caring, many others are incompetent, and/or simply the "flavor of the month".

By all means work with the D.C.F., but their mission is not to get you custody.

I suggest pusuing custody separate from D.C.F.

Other than for child support, has your rights to your child ever been established by the Court?

If you opt to proceed without the assistance of counsel, be aware that you will not be entitled to a do over if things go badly.

An internet inquiry is no substitution for an in-office consultation with an attorney.
