Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
My mother was three months pregnant with me when her boyfriend left her and said i was not his..i am now 17 and recently found out about this situation. My whole life I have thought the guy who raised me was my biological father but he is not. He adopted me 2 months after I was born when he married my mother. My biological father lives about 30 - 40 miles from me and he has family scattered between the two counties. I have contacted him before because I wanted to know who I am. He refuses that I am his. He has a daughter and a son whom I would like to get to know. I have contacted his daughter a few times and this last time which was last night my biological father called me saying that if i ever was to contact him or any of his immediate family or post anything about him being my biological father on facebook that he would press harassment charges against me. I would like to know how could we get a court ordered blood test done to see if he is my biological father. I am fully convinced he is because i look exactly like him. We do not want any child support from him. all I would like to know is who I am. It would be very awkward to have a sexual encounter with a cousin that i didn't know. He has already expressed that he does not want anything to do with me. So if you could please advise me on the situation it would be very helpful. thank you.

When your Stepfather legally adopted you, your biological father gave up all parental rights and his parental rights were fully terminated. Although it's not what you want to hear, if he does not want to see you, you might strongly consider respecting his request.
