Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Can I move in with my father? My parents are divorced and I am 17. He lives in California and I live with my mother in Florida. She changes her mind frequently about me leaving, but living with my father would be the best scenario for everyone involved.

You are at an age that would make it difficult for your mom to deny you. If she has custody and is receiving child support, you really need to have your father file for change of custody and support. The judge will allow you to testify as to your preference. However, it really should be more than just because mom won't let me do what I want etc.
