Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I would like to move out of our home and file for divorce. Then we would sell the house and split the proceeds. Can my spouse legally move his friend into our home?
Thank you

It depends upon what the judge decides. I would argue that since both parties are supposed to bascially keep the status quo until the divorce is settled, by moving his friend into the home, he would be infringing upon your right to equal possession and enjoyment of the marital home.
Unless there is a Court Order addressing the issue, the police will not do anything to help you.
I suggest promptly filing for divorce. For strategy reasons, I recommend not moving from the home until a formal marital settlement is reached.
