Must I move or not?

I live with my Mother and my father lives in puerto rico, I am 18 years of age and they plan on sending me to live with my father because she no longer wants to take care of me. The thing is I don't want to go live with my father and rather stay and live with a friend or my boyfriend, is my choice in doing so a possibility or not?

If you are 18, you can live in whichever country you choose to live in. However, if your mom wants you out of her house, she has the right to ask you to leave. So, the answer is that you don't have to move to another country but you may have to find another place to stay.
