Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
I would like to move ot of state with my child. Four years ago her father and i went to court over a custody battle. I got primary physical custody and he got every other weekend visitations. He went a few times and then stopped. He has not paid child support nor has he seen her in four years. I have not been back to court since then. I have recently found out he is in prison for ten years. He has a long criminal backround as a convicted felon with domestic violence charges from when we were together. i would like to find out how i could go about leaving the state of FL or how i could possibly terminate his rights as he has had nothing to do with her.

You need to file a petition to terminate parental rights, and, probably be on the safe side, a petition for relocation. Both of these are complicated procedures, and you should speak with a local lawyer to assist you.
