Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

moving a child out of the country

I am in a bad situation.I am from Europe and got married there. My husband and I had a baby girl in 2004. On October 2005 we got separated. He has a drinking problem, is very violent towards me. As a matter of fact he attacked me last night.I was beatten pretty bad.In the best interest of my child, I didn't report him. I am going to scholl full time, and go to work full time, I don't get a dime from him, he does not work, I have no family here whatsovever.I want to take my daughter to my mom and leave her there for at least a year until i finish school. What are the chances that he will get me arrested. Do I need anything in writing from him in order to take my daughter out of the country? I need to remove my daughter from any possible harm, until we get a divorce. Please I need to know something pretty fast. And may I add, he has previous records, of DUI and transspassing

Re: moving a child out of the country

1. Report the abuse everytime it occurs.

2. You have the right to go to Europe and litigate the issue later.

3. Once in Europe you can seek assistance from the authorities there.
