Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Were moving to Colorado at the end of December. We want our 15 yearold daughter to stay and live with her friend for the rest of the school year. We filled out Power Of Attorney of a Minor Child papers & got them notarized to bring to her school so she could change the address on the emergency card, & get a new bus pass.
The school said I would have to go to court, which I don't think is necessary for 5 months guardianship, when we already filled out legal documents. I called the court house, and they said to speak to a lawyer.
What should I do?
