Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Moving out of state with minor child

My ex and I have been divorced for 6 years and I have been remarried for 5. My question is how hard is it to get a court order allowing my minor daughter to move to another state. Per our court order she cant leave the surrounding area. We are planning to move to Georgia which will be a 4 hour drive from her father. I offered to bring her to him every three weeks instead of every other and for a month during the summer instead of 2 weeks. I will also pick her up. He will have more days per year with her just not as frequent. I even offered to allow him to reduce child support for the month during the summer by 25% since he already does the two weeks that he has her now. Is this something I can go at alone or do I need an attorney?

Re: Moving out of state with minor child

Relocation is a complex issue involving the best interests of the child. A hearing before the court is necessary. Retain local counsel. Good luck.
