Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
Mr. Smitten: thank you for taking the time to respond to my question. You didn't really provide the help I needed.
Here is the question and your response again:
What can I do if the court does not give me enough time to respond to a motion? They keep sending me hearing notices with less than 10 days to respond. Since I live out of state I want to be able to attend by phone.

file a motion for extension or just get it done on time.

My point was that the court was NOT providing me enough time to respond, so there is no way I can respond on time. They want 10 days and I get the notice with less than 10 day left to respond.
Entering a motion to extend time will not work with them. They want their 10 days and if they don't get it my request to do anything is denied.
