Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My name is Natalie, I am currently planning to seperate from my husband.

He is starting to become abusive to me and mildly to my kids.

I have married for 8 yrs now, going on 9 and we have 4 kids together.

I have been a stay at home mother for all of our marriage, but my question is:

With our seperation, does he have to pay any child support? And what am I entitled to since I havent worked the whold marriage and He has. Do I get half of what he owns? And if we do decide to get a divorce, if he doesnt want to work out the marriage, do I get alamoni (spelled wrong)?

Thanks so much

If you get custody, he pays support and vice versa. Generally, you get half of everything you've acquired as a couple since you've been married. Your marriage has been relatively short, so it doesn't sound likely that you'd get alimony, but there are ways--though more rare--to obtain alimony other than the length of the marriage.
