Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

my nephew is in an abusive home.physical and mental.he is 16 and does not want to go home.what can we,aunt and uncle do.he is a good young man he wants to stay with us.is there anything we can do?the fathers home is just packed full of issues.it is a 3 bedroom home where he shares a very small room with his brother, his father is back with the birth mother after 13 yrs apart and she is abusive.they also have a sister,a aunt and her mother staying with them.it is a very bad situation and we are stuck in the middle of it.just an example of what is going on the father would not let him have his ROTC uniform for school, causing him to drop the course and credit for the program, his tennis shoes,so we havebought him new ones, or even his glasses to be able to see properly.we get up every morning and take him to school at 6:45a.m. because his father won't sign the paper forhim to ride the bus.they are making it as hard as possible for the boy to be a normal boy please tell us what we can do.thank you for your time on this matter

If it is truly abusive, you should call DCF. If not abusive, then you have no control beyond talking to your relatives.
