Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

We have had our nephew since he was 4 weeks old and he is now 2. Mother and father both have signed temporary custody papers and waiver of service of process. What exactly does the waiver do? Will they still have to show up at a court hearing?

Whether or not they need to appear for a hearing is dependent on the Judge.
