Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Non custodial parent (father) informed custodial parent (mother) that he may lose his job soon. Mother immediately became hostile threatening to withhold visitation with his 4 yo son if father fell behind on even 1 child support payment. She called him a deadbeat father and told him she would throw him in jail. Father has not even lost his job yet and has never once been late with his child support payments. Father has a very close and loving relationship with his son. Mother told him not to call tonight as she would not allow him to talk to his son. She also threatened to accuse him of neglect. Can she be reported to authorities for such threats and for withholding phone calls and visitation?

The authorities will not get involved at this juncture. You need to file a Motion for Contempt with the court that handled the divorce and custody issues.
