Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

i am a non relative carer for two children. recently they were removed from my home by dcf due to the 4 yr old tipped and fell in my vehicle and sustained a black eye outside the day care. Also the prior day I had spanked her with a brush because she viciously pushed her 2 year old sister down. I do regret my actions. What are the type of charges I could be facing please, and should I try to get legal representation.

would really need more info. Who called DCF - and if there were bruises on the child from being spanked, I would think you would have to comply with DCF findings before you could be allowed to have the children back.
