I am a noncustodial father. my son's mom is taking him out of the state.
I pay child support, and have been with him and her for the seven years he has been alive. now she want to leave the state with him.
can i stop her from leaving with him?

To move your child more than 50 miles from his current address, she must follow a strict statutory procedure which involves, in part, getting your permission in writing or, if you won't concede, getting a judge's permission. Getting a judge's permission is very tough. If she's give you a more date in writing (like an email) or given you some other serious proof or reason to believe she really is going to move, you should contact a lawyer immediately.
