A non-custodial parent wants to leave the United States without the child. Does he need approval to leave on his own from the custodial parent?

As long as you are not taking the child you may go wherever you plan to go. However, you should alert the primary custodial parent that you will be leaving the country and when you plan to return if you wish to continue your visitation.

I believe there is a clause in your decree that should state that but it would have to be reviewed before I could give you any info
