Notice of Voluntary Dismissal

If a Joint Stipulation for custody and visitation was filed with the court and there was no hearing held, does a notice of voluntary dismissal filed make the stipulation void?

Re: Notice of Voluntary Dismissal

There has to be a court order and a non-dismissed court case number attached to the stipulation. A dismissal would void the order. However, if the other party wanted the stipulation to remain in effect, they could simply file a new case and enter the stipulation under the new case number and have an order entered on it.
