Legal Question in Family Law in Florida
What do I have to do to obtain custody of my child
The mother of my child and I are no longer together. She is telling me that I can't see the child because she doesn't want any other females around her. When I try to make contact with her she ignores my messages, and when she does answer me, it's just to tell me I still can't see my daughter. It has been two weeks since I've seen them and it's killing me I would appreciate any help yoyu could give me. Thank you.

Your only recourse is to go to court and establish visitation. If there is no court order directing the mother to give you visitation, and she voluntarily refuses visitation, what other recourse do you think you could have?

Are the two of you divorced. If you are divorced refer to your final judgment of dissolution of marriage to determine what was decided about visitation. If you are not divorced start that proceeding and file a motion for visitation. Either way you need to go to court and file for visitation. If you want custody then you still need to go to court on this. I handle family law and offer free one hour consultation if you would like to discuss this further.
