Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

I ordered a restraining order to protect me and 20 month old baby.

As my husband is abusive in every way possible and threaten to leave the state with the baby and not bring him back.

The judge granted the order, however made a big mistake in giving the temporary custody to the father instead of me the mother which baby resides with since birth and father has minimal contact 10% since he decided to abandones us and have an affair and wanted no part of us, when i requested motion for reversal because it was closing time and the sent me home and said to come back tomorrow morning. the rejected to reverse my order as they did not view as emergency.

In order for me to have my child back, i had to drop the charges to protect my child from danger, as there a few of other things that have occurred in front of the child and with the child in hand in the past as well.

How does a judge not see the reversal urgent and put my son in the hands of an abuser?

Please someone help me understand why the court system left me unsafe and my child from this violent man, basically the court placed a gun in my husbands hand to kill me and kidnap the child, though the courts don't see as kidnapping is my understanding because he's the father. figure of speech! No? Victims Please research before you trust anyone even the court system, something just doesn't add up, exactly!

You should have taken the papers your received back to the judge's judicial assistant, asked to speak to the judge or explain the situation to the judge's judicial assistant so that she/he could have explained it. The judge probably would have ordered up the file and corrected the error. Having filed a Motion for reversal sounds as though the judge may have made the correct decision and found that the father was the proper parent. I know this is not what you want to hear. I suggest you hire an attorney so that the proper relief can be granted to you.
