Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

My ex has not paid me alimony, before I file a motion for contempt is there a form or motion I can send him just to wake him up let him know I'm serious about this before I file a motion for contempt and have to go to court or mediation?

You should send him a good faith letter demanding he pay what's owed. In the alternative, have an attorney send it. The later might make a stronger impact. My minimum fee is charged for this type of service.

The above information is provided without any consideration/payment having been received, and without full knowledge of all of the facts.

Why play games. If he has not paid your alimony, sending him a nice letter is not going to get his attention. If you hire an attorney to handle this for you and the court finds him in contempt which there is no reason why not to, your attorney fees should be reimbursed as a sanction to him for not complying with the order of the court. If I can be of assistance, please contact my office for an appointment 904-997-1031
