Palimony Laws in the state of Florida

I have been engaged to a man for over 7 years and we have built a house and have lived there for over 5 years with my two children from a previous marraige. We are splitting up due to an affair on his side. What are the laws in this area?

Unless you can prove that a verbal contract existed, whatever the terms, regarding the relationship, you have only rights to the property you have jointly acquired. No support is payable absent a marriage .
