Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

Parent leaving state

We have a case coming up for custody. He took me to court because I told him that I was planning on moving to California and I guess he is going to ask the judge to not allow that. We were never married, we were never even really a couple. Our son is 2 now, and he hasn't been very helpful with child support. Do you think he has a chance? I really hope not because I want to live in California so bad!!!
