Legal Question in Family Law in Florida

If the parent who has physical custody lives in Tampa and the other parent moves to Miami, who would be responsible for transportation during visitation. To clarify the child lives in Tampa, but one of the parent's moved to Miami. During the parent's time in Miami would the parents be required to meet halfway. What is the exact law regarding transportation in Florida?

There is no law on it. It would be up to the parents to work it out. If they can't, they'd have to go to the judge. Knowing the Tampa judges as I do, I think they would say, "Meet in the middle." But it would also depend on the reason for the move. If the reason was not a good one, I could see a judge saying, "Hey, you made the move, you pay for transportation and you make the drive. Next time think about the kids before you move four hours away."
