Perhaps a Consent to Adoption or Waiver of Parental Rights was filed in some court action. You don't indicate when this may have occurred. You may wish to check to see if your birth certificate has been revised for an adoption. Usually a parent relinquishes parental rights as part of an adoption; you could check in the county where such adoption would have occurred. If the consent was filed as a result of an action by Florida Dept of Children & Families, you may be able to obtain information from that agency, based on your name, name of parents, approx. date, etc.
